Kinira

Kinira is less than 30 minutes drive on an excellent road from Thassos town. It is away from all of the hustle and bustle of daily life, but, in addition to its exquisite location, this beach resort, with its two spotless white pebble, twin beaches nestled into the densely wooded, steep mountainsides, offers a range of bars and restaurants, hotels with pools, supermarkets and mini markets, a regular bus service, and excellent access to the marble beaches around the south of the island.

The most wonderful thing about Kinira is that a visitor can sit on his balcony, reveling in the natural beauty of the deep green of the mountains, the deep azure sea, the brilliant blue of the sky above, the sparkling white of the pebbles on the beach and just fill his soul with this visual beauty and peace, and yet know that within a short distance, there is access to the busier resorts of the north and south of the island.
