THE HOME

Villa Margarita is the ideal coastal accommodation for 6 adults and 2 children who dream about spending the summer holidays in Thassos and who want to enjoy its natural beauty at the comfort of a villa of high quality standards.

The picturesque fishing village of Skala Maries is spread out over four small bays, each one embracing a beautiful beach. In the central bay, you can find the fishing port and the main settlement. In the southern bay the beach of Fari is hidden and inaccessible by car so that not many visitors have discovered it. The more experienced swimmers who dive love it because it has stayed untouched by human intervention. Part of it consists of a sandy beach, which according to Google is called the Emerald Beach because of its blue-green waters. It offers an almost private beach.

On a large private property, only 120 meters from this virgin beach, Villa Margarita was built, having an excellent view of the sea and the fantastic sunsets! With a total of 120 square meters over two levels, it was built in accordance with the highest international standards. It consists of four air conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living room with an open kitchen and dining area. It is adorned with spacious verandas and a private swimming pool in an elevated and paved area with a pavilion. Visitors can enjoy magical sunsets while sitting on the comfortable sunbeds, or even better, swimming in the pool. A perfect setting for photos that will make their friends jealous.

ACCOMMODATION

The ground floor consists of three bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second has two single beds and in the third one there is a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two children (0-12 years).

On the first floor, we find the fourth bedroom, with a double bed, a bathroom and the large living room and kitchen area with a smart TV and a large window facing the beach and the sea.

KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen provides all the equipment and utensils needed to prepare and serve tasty home meals, snacks, breakfast, and drinks. You can enjoy these at the dining table for eight or on the furnished veranda. In addition, there is a private barbeque in the garden to grill the meat of your choice and fresh, straight from the local fishing boats.

FACILITIES

All our rooms are air conditioned. Doors and windows are protected from insects by window nets. Our free and unlimited WIFI ensures a strong signal everywhere. Washing and ironing equipment allows you to keep your clothes clean and fresh during your stay. You will find the apartment clean and with the beds made. In the wardrobe you can find extra replacement linen and towels.

Free and safe private parking is provided.

WHAT CAN BE FOUND IN THE AREA

Villa Margarita is 1,2 kilometers away from the center of Skala Maries. It is a 2 minute drive or a 15 minute walk to get to the supermarket, the bakery, the pharmacy and all other shops necessary for your self catering holidays. Traditional tavernas next to the water serve cheap delicious fresh fish and seafood straight from the net.

The nearest gas station is 5 kilometers away while the bank and a bigger touristic shopping area can be found in the village of Limenaria, 7 kilometers away. To the south, you will find the resort of Potos, which is the center of nightlife, especially for young people. A bit further we get to Giola, the popular natural swimming pool with sea water. Visitors gather there to swim in its warm water and to admire its natural beauty.
