THE VILLA

The 2-floor maisonette ‘Bosporus’ is a part of a newly built complex of villas, just a few steps away from the popular Golden Beach in Skala Potamia, Thassos.

Each villa has its own fenced front yard with a garden and private parking for one car. All villas share a large courtyard, which is also fenced and provides a safe place for children to play outside while enjoying the sunshine.

In front of the house there is a spacious veranda with outdoor furniture, overlooking the beautiful garden.

The ground floor consists of a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a WC. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub. Each bedroom has its own balcony. The villa is fully air-conditioned.

Along the coastline nearby, there are restaurants, taverns, cafes, beach bars, and water sports. The village center of Skala Potamia is an easy 1-min drive or 5-min walk away. There you will find more taverns and restaurants, fast food shops, gas stations, an ATM where you can withdraw cash 24/7, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakery, meat and fish market, and everything you need for home cooking. The nightlife in Skala Potamia is attractive for any mood.

SLEEP

The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. On the top floor, there are two bedrooms with ‘Queen size’ double beds for 4 adults. In the living room, there is a sofa that simply opens and becomes a double bed for 2 children (0-12 years).

EAT & DRINK

The fully-equipped kitchen has an oven and stove for cooking meals, breakfast, and snacks. Pots, pans, and everything you need to prepare a good home-cooked meal is provided in the villa. There is also a boiler for hot water, coffee machine, toaster, and dishwasher for a convenient and restful stay. Movable BBQ is available, to grill your favorite fresh fish and local meat. You can serve them at the dining table in the kitchen or you will enjoy them outside on the spacious veranda.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

The villa has easy access to the main road that passes around the island, making it easy for you to reach, by car or by regular bus, any of the island’s beaches and attractions quickly and conveniently. The main port in the capital Limenas is 13 km away.

10 km south is the renowned ‘Paradise’ sandy beach with the blue-green sea. Then the route leads to the twin coves of Aliki, the most photographed scenery of Thassos. Following is the imposing Archangel Michael Convent. Built on the edge of a cliff, it looks to hover between the sky and the vastness of the Aegean Sea. Next is Giola, the natural seawater pool. Thousands of visitors come to swim in its warm water.
