A Family's Resort

The two-story house ‘A Family’s Resort’ was built in 2018-2019 next to the ring road. Within a 1,5 km radius are Potamia, Skala Potamia, and the beach. With a 140m² living area, it comes with 4 air-conditioned bedrooms.

The top floor consists of 2 bedrooms with full-size double beds, a spacious open plan kitchen-dining-living room, and a bathroom. In the open-plan space, there is a 3-seat sofa bed where 2 children (0 – 12 years) can comfortably sleep.

The ground floor also has 2 bedrooms, an equally spacious open plan kitchen-dining-living room and a bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a full-size double bed and the second has twin beds. In the open-plan space, there is 1 extra single bed and 2 sofas where 2 children (0 – 6 years) can sleep.

Both kitchens are fully equipped. Laundry equipment is provided as well. All windows have mosquito screens. Private parking, A/C, and Wi-Fi are available. There is a 200 m2 backyard with BBQ, natural grass, and playground.

Dining there with all of your family or friends, under the stars in the serenity of the garden and listening to the summer songs of cicadas and crickets, will refresh you for the following day excursions.

In Skala Potamia there is a wide variety of entertainment options for all moods and ages. Numerous family-run restaurants and taverns serve local meat dishes, fresh fish delivered directly by the fishing boats and fragrant vegetarian dishes. There are also street food shops, as well as grocery stores, fish market and supermarkets providing everything is needed for cooking at home. A large supermarket is just 500 m. away from ‘A Family’s Resort’ House. Secure banking customer services are provided 24/7 by an ATM booth. The nearest gas station is just 400 m away. Regular bus services transfer visitors all around the island.

Turning south on the ring road in front of the house, the route leads to “Paradise Beach”, the renowned sandy beach with the blue-green sea, and then to twin coves of Aliki, the most photographed scenery of Thassos. Further along the road you will find the imposing Monastery of Archangel Michael. Built on the edge of a cliff, it looks like it is hovering between the sky and the vastness of the Aegean Sea. Next is Giola, the natural seawater pool. Thousands of visitors come to swim in its warm water every Summer.
